Twas the Day Before the Election

T'was the Day Before the Election

It was the day before election,
And all thru’ town,
Tempers were flaring
Emotions ran up and down.
I was drinking coffee with my cat in my lap,
Had shut off the T.V,
Tired of the scrap
When all of a sudden,
There arose such a noise,
I peered out my window,
Saw Obama and his boys
They had come for my wallet,
They had wanted my pay
To hand out to others
Who had not worked a day !!
He snatched up my money,
And quick as a wink,
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink.
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart.
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart !!!
On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers !!

On ACORN, on Pelosi
He screamed at the pairs !!
They took off for his cause,
And as they flew out of sight
I heard Obama laugh at a nation
Who wouldn’t stand up and fight.
So I leave you to think on this final note,
If you don’t won’t Socialism or Communism,
GET OUT AND VOTE !!!!!!

  1. Best of luck in your elections. :) I'll be listening to the radio over here in Canada to hear the outcome.

  5. Very good and straight forward.
Pray for Obama and his cabinet. Be careful not to speak any evil against him; for we ought not to develop hate inside ourselves toward him, though he is a man of wicked devices. "The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water; He turneth it withersoever He will." -Prov. 21:1
Pray for his repentance or his downfall. Either way, pray that he will be humbled, and pray constantly for the people of America, who must stand, quit complaining and making excuses, and fight!

    1. I actually didn't write this poem. As I said in a previous comment I don't know who wrote it.

      I agree whole-heartedly!
